Infatuation

Never mistaken the feeling of infatuation and in love. The mistake has caused me distance with my friend and a price ii have to take. The mistake; when it's too late you wish you could turn back time. But there's no machine for such.

You finally know him or her. Is it love or infatuation?

Infatuation: when you are close with someone for a long period of time. It usually started of from friendship, then one of the party develops a feeling for the guy/girl. The feeling sparks off really quick and also can lead to feeling of emptiness. Usually the males are the victims in this. Men usually fall for this as we (men) fail and can't read signals or body languages, however most women do. Hence, men always get friendzoned...however, with increasing number of female population, girls are currently more facing to this problem. Just because you are get used to his/her company, being around him/her most of the time, that doesn't mean you are in love. Somehow ii kinda agree that it is better to be in love with your friend because we know his/her personalities, but at that point, it's already too late that we are in the friendzone category. 

The ultimate goal of being in a relationship is in the long term, to grow old together. Infatuation does not. But honestly, it's hard to tell when you're in infatuation or in love as the feelings are nearly both the same. Hence, love is blind. So, it's a gamble and risk to confess.
